Manchester United have a perfect end to the year as they won against Nottingham Forest in their last Premier League game of the year 2022. Erik ten Hag’s men put three past Nottingham Forest in the game played on Tuesday night at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford started off with a beautiful goal which came off the corner. Eriksen took the corner and it was a well training ground move from Manchester United to lead Nottingham Forest in the 19th minute.
The English forward not only recorded a goal but an assist as well. Rashford’s assist came three minutes later his goal. It was a sweet pass to Anthony Martial who took a first time shot which beat Nottingham Forest’s goalkeeper. Manchester United were comfortably leading 2-0 in the first half.
Manchester United were dominating in the second half as well and they got the reward in the 87th minute when the substitute player Fred scored the goal. Fred sealed the game and it was a great end to the year for Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Manchester United are now just 1 point away from top 4 of the Premier League and have one game in hand.
