Manchester United have informed Fiorentina that they will not trigger the €20m buy option for Sofyan Amrabat.
Despite this, United remain interested in Amrabat and are willing to discuss different terms, as manager Erik ten Hag is keen on the midfielder. Other clubs are also showing interest in Amrabat.
Amrabat has returned to Fiorentina after his loan spell and is now available for new manager Raffaele Palladino. He will rejoin training with Fiorentina on Wednesday as the team heads to England for pre-season training.
However, Amrabat’s return to Florence is expected to be temporary. Other Premier League clubs might make a permanent move for him this summer. His current contract with Fiorentina expires next summer.
