Manchester United is growing increasingly concerned about new signing Leny Yoro, who may face a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Yoro, who joined the club for £52 million from Lille just two weeks ago, suffered an injury during the team’s 2-1 pre-season defeat to Arsenal at SoFi Stadium on Saturday.

The French centre-back was seen on crutches and wearing a protective boot on his left foot after leaving the pitch in the 34th minute. With his leg bandaged below the knee, there are fears that he may have a fracture. Yoro, who had impressed in his debut match, had to be treated on the field before leaving the game early.

If Yoro is out for an extended period, it would be a significant setback for manager Erik ten Hag, who is aiming for a stronger performance after last season’s disappointing eighth-place finish. The team already struggled with injuries last season, and ten Hag had expressed concerns about a potential repeat of those issues.
