Manchester United secured a much-needed win against Brentford in their Wednesday night fixture in the English Premier League. The Red Devils managed to score the only goal of the game, with Marcus Rashford finding the back of the net in the first half.
After an international break, Manchester United were keen to get back to winning ways in the league. And despite facing a spirited Brentford side, they managed to take all three points.
The game started with both sides exchanging blows, but it was Manchester United who looked the more threatening. The England international Marcus Rashford was fed by Marcel Sabitzer and he made no mistake in slotting the ball past Raya. However, they were unable to convert their chances in the early first half, with Brentford’s goalkeeper David Raya making some crucial saves.
In the second half, Manchester United stepped up their game but still couldn’t find their second goal.
