Jack Grealish’s move to Manchester City breaks the previous record of their local rivals Manchester United when they had completed the signing of the French international Paul Pogba from Juventus back in 2016 for a reported fee of 89.3 million pounds.
Grealish represented Ireland at youth level but switched allegiance to England in 2015, making his Under-21 debut for the Three Lions a year later. Grealish was very recently loved and hailed by the English supporters for his skilful display in the UEFA Euro.
Grealish will add more of an attacking threat to the Premier League champions as he has proved he is a dynamic player with the position he plays giving City an option down the wing or as an attacking midfielder. Apart from the title, one thing is for certain that the Manchester clubs are looking more competitive and hungrier than their recent years with massive signings from both sides. Aston Villa’s owners Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens have already filled in the huge gap in their squad after the departure of the star man with the likes of Emi Buendia, Leon Bailey and Danny ings.
Jack Grealish’s has received all the support and best wishes from his Aston Villa teammates, the club and the fans and he too showed his appreciation back to them.
