The last game of the Matchweek 19 of the English Premier League was played between Manchester City and Chelsea. This was one of the blockbuster games in the league but however it didn’t went as expected by the fans. There was only one goal scored in this match and which came in the second half.
The only goal decided the game whereas fans expected some raining goals. Manchester City who are chasing Arsenal in the Premier League points table started off well. They were in possession fortunately. Chelsea FC are not in good run of form since the new coach Graham Potter appointed.
Chelsea were defending well against the defending champions but the ‘Blues’ couldn’t hold it for 90 minutes. Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva were substituted in the second half. Riyad Mahrez and Jack Grealish were brought in their places. Both these players helped City win the game. A cross from Grealish reached Riyad Mahrez who finished it exquisitely well in the far post.
Manchester City are now 5 points behind league leaders Arsenal FC in the Premier League’s points table.
