Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp praised and respected the 26-year-old Takumi Minamino for his splendid performance against Norwich City. He showed a display of character and full strength as he scored a brace before getting substituted. The Japanese international had overcome his injury problems to score against Norwich City, as they march towards the next round of the EFL Cup.

The versatile 26-year-old spending his last season with Southampton FC returned to the club after suffering a thigh injury earlier this month, has now made a comeback netting two goals and assisting Divock Origi’s goal as well. It was an all-rounder performance showed by the Japanese as he conquered all the departments in his position. He had an accuracy pass of 85% throughout the game and also had a dazzling finish to score a brace in his return. His outstanding passes and touches were immense for the fans to keep an eye on.

Jurgen Klopp commented by mentioning “It’s sometimes not so easy, but he’s a top character and he enjoyed the game. That was important for him and important for us, so that will help him and will help us.”

“ Takumi hasn’t had too much game time yet, but when he’s in this football shape he will have game time 100 per cent. Divock with a top-class goal, which was good for him as well,” he added, reports Anfield Watch.
