Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal has reportedly visited a Belgian specialist to assess a case of pubic inflammation that has been troubling him since September, according to Mundo Deportivo. The report revealed that the situation is not serious, with doctors confirming that Yamal is only in the early stages of the condition.

The 17-year-old forward, who has been one of Barcelona’s standout performers this season, underwent medical evaluation after feeling recurring discomfort in recent weeks. Fortunately, the specialist’s assessment brought reassuring news, suggesting that the club’s medical staff detected the issue at a very early stage.

“The conclusion of the report was positive as Lamine is only in the very early stages of pubic inflammation,” said Mundo Deportivo.

“The doctor reported that the club discovered Lamine’s issue early, and so have been reducing his risk.”

Despite managing the inflammation, Yamal’s performances have shown no signs of slowing down. The teenager has been in outstanding form, scoring three goals in his last three matches, helping Barcelona regain momentum after a difficult spell. His impressive displays have once again underlined his maturity and resilience, especially given his young age and heavy playing schedule.
