Fabrizio Romano has reported that Arsenal’s forward Mai Havertz could be out for the remainder of the season due to his latest hamstring injury. As per the transfer expert, the striker has sustained a serious injury and there’s a possibility that he doesn’t appear onto the pitch this season.
Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions have been dealt a significant blow with the news that forward Kai Havertz is expected to miss the remainder of the 2024-25 season due to a hamstring injury. The 25-year-old German international sustained the injury during a training camp in Dubai. He is currently undergoing assessments to determine whether surgery will be necessary.
Havertz has been a pivotal figure for the Gunners this season, emerging as the team’s top scorer with 15 goals across all competitions. His absence compounds Arsenal’s existing injury woes, with key attackers Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli also sidelined.
The timing of Havertz’s injury is particularly detrimental as Arsenal is in pursuit of their first Premier League title since 2004. The Gunners currently trail league leaders Liverpool by six points, with Liverpool holding a game in hand.
