Juventus FC defeated Fiorentina FC in the Serie A on Sunday night, 12th February to get the important three points in the game. Every point is important for the champion side (Juventus FC) as they lost 15 because the official decided to deduct their points due to financial fair play issues.
Juventus FC were fourth at one time but after points deduction they are now a mid-table team. Juventus are trying hard to secure the European football for next season. Only one goal was scored in the game and it was Juventus’ midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot who was about to leave the club last summer scored a wonderful goal in the 34th minute to help the host secure three points. Rabiot’s goal was also the winner which came in the first half itself. Fiorentina were unlucky not to score in the game as they created so many chances.
Juventus FC are now at the 9th position in the Serie A points table with 29 points. They are 30 points behind the league leaders Napoli FC.
