Joao Felix has agreed to join Chelsea after the club is trying to convince the club and the player after the deal collapse with their striker Samu Omorodion. Atletico are still not convinced on letting João Felix go but the player wants the move and ready to move as soon as possible.
João Félix has reportedly agreed to join Chelsea, reigniting the Blues’ pursuit of the talented Portuguese forward. This development comes after Chelsea’s previous deal for striker Samu Omorodion fell through, pushing the club to intensify efforts to secure Félix.
Félix, who spent the latter half of the 2023/24 season on loan at Chelsea, has expressed his eagerness to return to Stamford Bridge. Despite his clear desire to move, Atletico Madrid remains hesitant to part with the 24-year-old. The Spanish club is yet to be fully convinced about letting him go, likely due to his potential and the significant investment they made when signing him in 2019.
Chelsea, however, are determined to bring Félix back to London. The club believes the player could be a key asset in their rebuilding process under Enzo Maresca. Félix’s versatility, creativity, and ability to play across the front line make him an attractive option for the Premier League side.
