Lionel Messi reportedly made a secret visit to the newly renovated Spotify Camp Nou last night. According to multiple sources close to FC Barcelona, the Argentine icon arrived quietly after dark to see the progress of the stadium’s reconstruction, a place he once called home for over two decades.

Messi, who now plays for Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, was visibly emotional during the private visit. The 37-year-old reportedly took a slow walk around the pitch and the stands that witnessed some of his greatest moments in football.

Speaking to club media later, Messi expressed his heartfelt emotions:

“I’ve returned to the place that I miss with all my soul… a place where I was immensely happy, where you made me feel many times the happiest person in the world.”

The Argentine legend also hinted at his desire to reconnect with the club in the future, adding: “I hope one day I can come back, and not just to say goodbye as a player, as I could never do.”
