FC Goa has reached an understanding with defender Sandesh Jhingan over a free transfer. Sandesh Jhingan, whose contract with BFC winds up at the end of the season, was in talks for an extension. However, negotiations took too long, and both parties couldn’t reach a consensus.
Sandesh Jhingan is expected to move to FC Goa where he will replace Anwar Ali. Jhingan and Anwar, incidentally, are first-choice central defenders with the national teamhttps://t.co/KD2rhCDZmQ

Anwar Ali, the Goan club’s central defender, has signed a four-year contract with ATK Mohun Bagan. He has been replaced by an experienced central defender as the club looks for a replacement. It was discussed that several names would be considered initially. However, Goa quickly concluded the negotiations when Jhingan, who plays for Bengaluru FC, became available. The formal paperwork will be completed after the Super Cup has been played.
