Cristiano Ronaldo apologises following his video emerged in which he seemed to be breaking a fan’s phone that went viral all over the social networking sites. The Manchester United forward took over social media and showed his emotions towards the occurrence and admitted guilt. He also invited the fan to watch a game at the Red’s home stadium “as a sign of fair play and sportsmanship.”
A video went viral on social media with different opinions on it that Ronaldo smashed a fan’s device in anger at his side’s 1-0 loss to Everton. The loss resulted in crashing hope for the struggling Ralf Rangnick’s team to qualify for the Champions League.

The 37-year-old said that it’s difficult to “deal with emotions” in some moments, the time when his side is struggling and is not going through good times. The Portuguese on his official social media handle further said that, despite the difficulties, one should behave “respectful” and stay “patient” which sets a standard for the young people who admire sports. The player then asked for forgiveness and invited the fan to the home stadium saying, “I would like to apologise for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford.”
