Los Angeles FC star Heung-min Son has firmly dismissed rumours linking him with a potential loan move to a European club in the upcoming January transfer window. The South Korean forward clarified that he remains fully committed to LAFC and has no intention of leaving, even temporarily.
Speaking to reporters, Son stated, “I won’t leave LAFC this winter, or ever, while I’m here. I respect this club deeply.” He further emphasized his loyalty by adding, “As long as I’m wearing this badge, there will be no such thing as a loan or a move. Never.”
Son’s comments come after several reports suggested that European clubs were monitoring his situation and considering a short-term move during the MLS off-season. However, the former Tottenham Hotspur captain’s statement has now put an end to all speculation.
Since joining LAFC, Son has quickly become one of the team’s standout performers, bringing his experience, leadership, and attacking flair to Major League Soccer.
