The French national football team defeated Morocco in the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 to book their place in the finals. The final game will be a blockbuster as Lionel Messi will face Kylian Mbappe. Both these forward players have scored many goals for their nations in this year’s World Cup.
France has easily made it to the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2022. The defending champions didn’t take much time to lead Morocco in the game as the left-back Theo Hernandez scored a spectacular goal with his left foot to put France in front.
France’s national football team was ahead of Morocco in every aspect as they created a lot of chances in both halves. The scoreline of 1-0 didn’t do justice to France’s chances in the game. Later in the second half, Frankfurt’s forward Kolo Muani scored the winner and it was over for Morocco in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
With this victory, France also became the first nation to reach successive World Cup finals since Brazil in 2002. France will now face Argentina in the final game on 18th December.
