Achraf Hakimi doubled the advantage midway through the second half, slotting home after Bradley Barcola’s surging run unhinged the Sounders’ overloaded defence. The goals book-ended a display in which Luis Enrique’s side monopolised possession and out-shot the MLS hosts 15-5.
The result lifts PSG to six points with a +5 goal difference, edging Botafogo (+1) and Atlético Madrid (-1) on head-to-head criteria after all three finished level on six points. Under the new 32-team format only the group winner advances, meaning the Parisians will face the Group A runner-up in Atlanta on Sunday.
