FIFA Club World Cup: Inter Miami to face PSG in the knockouts; finish second in Group A

Inter Miami and Palmeiras had a great game at Hard Rock stadium where the game finished 2-2. However, due to goal difference, Palmeiras take the top spot in the group and Messi’s Miami are on 2nd place. This means, PSG who top their group will play against Inter Miami in the knockout stages. Whereas Botafogo will face Palmeiras.

Inter Miami and Palmeiras delivered an exciting 2-2 draw at the in a group stage finale that lived up to its billing. With both sides vying for the top spot, the stakes were high—and the match did not disappoint.

Lionel Messi once again led the line for Inter Miami, creating several chances and scoring a crucial goal to keep his side in the game. Palmeiras, however, showed resilience and attacking flair, equalizing twice and doing just enough to maintain their superior goal difference.

With the draw, both teams finish the group with equal points, but Palmeiras edge ahead to top the group based on goal difference. Inter Miami, despite an unbeaten run, settle for second place.
