Fenerbahçe has agreed a deal with Fiorentina to sign their midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. The midfielder will join the side on loan plus obligation to buy. The deal is completed and the player will be traveling to Fenerbahçe for his medical. The four year contract is set to be signed after the completion of the loan period. The player played his whole last season with Manchester United on loan but it didn’t went the way it was expected from the fans and experts.
The deal, now finalized, sees the 28-year-old Moroccan international moving to the Turkish club with the promise of a permanent transfer upon the completion of the loan period.
Amrabat is expected to arrive in Istanbul soon to undergo his medical examination with Fenerbahçe. Upon successful completion of these checks, he will be ready to put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the club, which will be activated after the loan period ends.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Manchester United, where his performances were met with mixed reviews. Despite the initial excitement surrounding his arrival, Amrabat struggled to make a consistent impact at Old Trafford, and his time there did not meet the high expectations.
