The German Football Association has extended the national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg’s contract until 2025. President Bernd Neuendorf praised Martina’s professional and human strengths. The 125-time national player – Voss-Tecklenburg, said she would like to stay until the 2027 World Cup. The DFB is applying together with Belgium and the Netherlands to host it.

The new contract now runs until 2025. Voss-Tecklenburg and assistant coach Britta Carlson will remain in charge of the team for the World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand, the 2024 Olympics in Paris and the 2025 Euros.

Martina Voss-Tecklenburg extended her contract before the next two international matches against the Netherlands and Brazil. These matches will be held on Good Friday in Sittard and Tuesday in Nuremberg. In 2018, Voss-Tecklenburg took over the office from Horst Hrubesch, who had it previously. She failed to qualify for the 2019 World Cup in France against Sweden and missed the Olympics.
