Arsenal star Declan Rice has heaped praise on Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo, revealing that he voted for the Ecuadorian in his PFA Team of the Year. Speaking in an interview highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Rice expressed admiration for Caicedo’s qualities and looked forward to facing him in their upcoming Premier League showdown.
“I’ve voted for Moi Caicedo in my PFA Team of the Year, I like him!” Rice said, acknowledging the Chelsea midfielder’s performances this season. The England international described his upcoming duel with Caicedo as an exciting “battle,” stating he is fully prepared for the challenge when Arsenal take on Chelsea.
Rice also addressed the frequent comparisons made between the two midfielders, insisting that although they share similar traits, their roles differ significantly. “I have a lot of respect for Moisés… there are so many comparisons between us, but we are playing different positions and my respect for Caicedo is total,” he added.
