The transfer window is officially closed and there were so many deals happened at the deadline day. The January transfer window felt like the summer one as lot of players moved from one club to another. The English Premier League’s table toppers Arsenal have also completed a deal just before the window ended.
Jorginho has joined the Mikel Arteta’s side (Arsenal FC) from their rival club Chelsea FC on the deadline day. Arsenal’s priority was to sign a midfielder before the window ends and they identified Brighton’s Moises Caicedo as their main option. But due to Brighton FC price tag for Caicedo, the deal between the clubs were off and they quickly moved for Jorginho.
Jorginho accepted the terms after he talked with Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta. As per Fabrizio Romano, Arteta played the main part in this deal as he convinced Jorginho who was getting a regular game time at Chelsea FC. Though, they got a new midfielder in January but the league leaders is expected to sign a young one in the summer.
