Chelsea have finally signed their priority midfield target of the January transfer window named Enzo Fernandez from Benfica in the last minutes of the window. It was a perfect way to end Chelsea’s transfer window as it couldn’t get much better than this.
Chelsea board finally made it as it was looking unlikely at one time. Benfica has accepted Chelsea’s last offer and also discussed the further details regarding the payment structure. The personal terms with the Argentine player was never a problem and thus everything happened in time.
The deal between the player and the club was signed in the last minute of the January transfer window. Chelsea FC signed so many players in this transfer window namely Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, Andrey Santos, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Malo Gusto, Noni Madueke, David Fofana, and now Enzo Fernandez.
Enzo Fernandez have signed a permanent deal with Chelsea which will run until June 2031. It is a 8-year long deal. Enzo Fernandez is expected to play in Chelsea’s next fixture which is against Fulham in the English Premier League on Saturday, 4th February.
