Daniel Maldini is poised to make a permanent move to AC Monza, leaving AC Milan after the clubs agreed on a transfer fee of €3 million. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder, whose contract with Milan was set to expire in 2025, will depart as he is not considered part of Milan’s future plans.
Maldini spent the last season on loan, first with Empoli and then with Monza, where he impressed by scoring four goals and providing one assist in 18 Serie A appearances. The deal also includes a small percentage of any future sale, ensuring that AC Milan retains a financial interest in Maldini’s career progression.
The transfer marks a new chapter for Maldini at Monza, where Adriano Galliani aims to present him to the new coach, Alessandro Nesta. The move is expected to provide Maldini with more consistent playing time and a fresh start to further his development.
