Chelsea Football Club is in the process of finding a new permanent manager for the upcoming 2023-2024 season, and it seems they have taken a major step in that direction by meeting face to face with Julian Nagelsmann.
The 34-year-old German manager, who was currently in charge of Bayern Munich, has been linked with several high-profile jobs in recent years due to his impressive track record of success at such a young age. Nagelsmann has previously managed TSG Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig, leading both teams to new heights of success and earning praise for his innovative tactical approach.
Chelsea’s current interim manager, Frank Lampard, was appointed just a few days ago to take charge of the team until the end of the season. However, it seems the club’s board has already begun looking ahead to the future and considering their options for a permanent appointment.
Nagelsmann’s appointment would represent a significant departure from Chelsea’s recent managerial history, which has seen them opt for more experienced managers such as Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte, and most recently, Thomas Tuchel.
