Manchester City’s goalkeeper Ederson has sustained a small fracture of his eye socket and thus will miss out the final two games for the club. He did play in their last game against Tottenham Hotspur and was substituted in the later half due to this injury.
Manchester City’s star goalkeeper, Ederson, has been ruled out of the club’s final two games of the seasont. The injury occurred during City’s recent match against Tottenham Hotspur, where Ederson was substituted in the latter stages of the game following a collision.
Despite his determination to continue, the medical assessment post-match revealed the extent of the injury. Ederson left the pitch after the incident as had to be replaced as the severity of his condition became high.
The timing of this injury is unfortunate for Manchester City as they approach the crucial end of the season. Ederson has been a pivotal figure in their defense, known for his exceptional shot-stopping abilities and his skill with the ball at his feet, which is integral to City’s playing style. City is about to play their last premier league game against West Ham where they have to win to clinch the trophy. They are also in the finals of the FA Cup against Manchester United, which will be their last game of this season.
