The Kylian Mbappe saga is on again after the player reported wanting to leave Paris Saint-Germain. Mbappe’s name seldom stays out of the news for very long, as the Frenchman is once more being mentioned about a prospective transfer to Real Madrid.
This story has already been told once, back when it was assumed that the Frenchman would soon make his way to the Spanish capital on a free transfer. When he played for PSG in the Santiago Bernabeu last season, the 14-time UCL champion team’s supporters gave him a hero’s welcome. Prior to his summer transfer, it appeared that Los Blancos were receiving an early peek at the player who would eventually join their team.
Mbappe would ultimately decide to extend his stay at PSG and sign a lucrative new contract. Though, only a few months later, it appears that he wants to quit the club, so his future is already in doubt once more. It’s not a surprise that Real Madrid has come up in the media as a possible destination for the Frenchman. But after being disappointed in the summer, would The Whites try again? As reported by RMC Sport, Ancelotti told Canal+ considering the situation, “You have the courage to ask that.” The Los Blancos boss further said, “I do not answer. I am not obliged to answer.”
Therefore, it will be extremely interesting to watch what Mbappe’s future contains. It is also important to note that Ancelotti did not entirely rule out the idea of a transfer.
