Borussia Dortmund are preparing for direct talks with Chelsea on Friday as they push to complete deals for Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Anselmino.

Dortmund have identified Chukwuemeka as a priority signing and are ready to meet Chelsea’s €20 million valuation, with additional add-ons and a sell-on clause also part of the agreement. The 20-year-old midfielder has struggled for regular minutes at Stamford Bridge but remains highly rated across Europe.

Alongside Chukwuemeka, Dortmund are also working on a loan move for Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino. The proposed deal is expected to be a straight loan with no buy option, ensuring Chelsea retain long-term control over the 19-year-old’s future.

Talks on Friday are expected to be decisive as Dortmund look to finalise both deals before the end of the transfer window. As updated by Fabrizio Romano on X (formerly Twitter), the blues are also ready to sell the player but want the deal to go as per their plan. Chelsea bought so many players in this transfer window and now are focusing on few of the exits to normalise the squad size.

However, it is expected that the Blues will go for few more players in the final days of the summer transfer window.
