The midfielder curled the ball past Sommer from the edge of the box to put City in front. Bayern Munich tried to respond quickly, but City’s defense remained strong, and they held onto their lead until the end of the first half.

In the second half, Bayern Munich tried to step up their game and create more opportunities, but they were unable to find a way past City’s well-organized defense. City, on the other hand, continued to create chances, and they doubled their lead in the 70th minute through Bernando Silva’s goal.
