Arsenal and Liverpool were against each other in the English Premier League on Sunday, 9 April at Anfield. Arsenal who are in the first position of the Premier League points table, played a good game and could have been the one who get all the three points. But Liverpool’s attack didn’t let them do that.

The game ended in a 2-2 draw and it was one-point each for both the teams. Arsenal took the lead in the first half, with Gabriel Martinelli scoring the first goal and Gabriel Jesus the second one. Mohamed Salah did pull one back just before the half-time’s whistle.

Firmino who came in the second half was the Liverpool’s hero of the game as he scored the much wanted equaliser for them. Arsenal are now on 73 points where as the second-place Manchester City are on 67 points with one game in hand. This draw between Liverpool and Arsenal would give City a chance to get close to the table toppers.
