Messi is unlikely to remain in Paris, as the Argentina international is unwilling to reduce his salary. At the end of the campaign, he will wait to see what proposals come his way. Barcelona remains keen to reunite with Messi, with Foot Mercato reporting that his representatives are optimistic about a return. However, the Camp Nou hierarchy is waiting to see the result of their ongoing Financial Fair Play dispute.
