AC Milan have reached an agreement to sign German striker Niclas Füllkrug on loan from West Ham United, with the deal set to run until June 2026. The transfer was confirmed by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano with his trademark “Here We Go,” marking another important move in Milan’s summer rebuild.

As per the agreement, the Rossoneri will cover Füllkrug’s salary until the end of the loan period. The deal also includes a buy option for the 2026–27 season, although the clause is not mandatory, giving Milan flexibility depending on the striker’s performances and long-term plans.

Füllkrug, who joined West Ham amid high expectations, is now set for a fresh challenge in Serie A. Despite interest from several German clubs keen on bringing him back to the Bundesliga, the 31-year-old made it clear that he preferred a move to Italy. The opportunity to play for AC Milan and experience a new league proved decisive in his choice.
