LeBron James will miss the remainder of the whole 2021-22 NBA season for the Los Angeles Lakers following his injury in a game on March 27.
In an official statement by the Lakers, the team said that LeBron’s left ankle was reanalyzed recently by the team’s medical staff which resulted in the conclusion of he not appearing for the leftover games for the 17-times NBA Champions. The No. 6 will be using this time in healing in the hope to return with full recovery for next season. “He will miss the remainder of the 2022-22 NBA season to continue healing and an expected full recovery,” said the Lakers.
LeBron James’ left ankle was recently reevaluated by Lakers medical staff, and it was determined that due to the ankle sprain James suffered in a game on March 27th, he will miss the remainder of the 2021-22 NBA season to allow for continued healing and an expected full recovery.

On Friday, LA Lakers lose to the Golden State Warriors where Clay Thompson powered his side with 33 points with six three-pointers. The team have been already eliminated and even failed to qualify for the Play-In Tournament following their seven consecutive beatings. This happened when the Phoenix Suns defeated them on Tuesday while Antonio Spurs dusted off Denver Nuggets.
Lakers have now two games left in the regular season before the Play-In Tournament starts followed by the NBA Playoffs. They will today play against the Thunder at 8:00 am IST and against the Nuggets on Monday, April 11 at 7:00 am IST.
