A dramatic and constantly evolving Q2 session at the Las Vegas Grand Prix ended with Nico Hulkenberg, Lance Stroll, Esteban Ocon, Ollie Bearman, and Franco Colapinto eliminated, setting the grid places from P11 to P15.

Earlier in the session, Lando Norris briefly held the fastest lap with a 1:51.379, but conditions continued to improve, and the times rapidly tumbled as the track dried.
Lance Stroll’s bold call to switch to intermediates ultimately proved costly as grip levels were not sufficient, leaving him outside the top ten.
As the final minutes approached, George Russell delivered a blistering lap to top Q2, while several frontrunners shuffled positions behind him.
