Hansi Flick is set to continue his journey with FC Barcelona after agreeing a new long-term contract with the club.

The German coach has reached a full agreement over a new deal that will keep him at Barcelona until June 2028. The contract also includes an option to extend his stay for one more season until June 2029.

According to the latest developments, the agreement has already been completed with Flick’s agent, Pini Zahavi, who travelled to Barcelona to finalize the negotiations. Only the official signing and formal announcement are now pending.

The new contract comes after another outstanding season for Barcelona under Flick. The Catalan side secured the La Liga title with three matches remaining after defeating Real Madrid 2-0 in El Clasico. It was Flick’s second consecutive league title since taking charge of the Spanish giants.

Barcelona’s leadership reportedly viewed Flick’s renewal as a top priority following the team’s consistent performances throughout the campaign. The German manager has rebuilt the squad with a clear tactical identity while also placing strong trust in young academy talents.

Under Flick, Barcelona have regained stability and confidence in major competitions. Several young players have developed into important first-team figures, while the team has also improved defensively and maintained attacking consistency across the season.
