Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added another historic chapter to his remarkable UEFA Champions League campaign after helping Paris Saint-Germain F.C. secure qualification for the final against FC Bayern Munich.
The Georgian winger produced the assist for Ousmane Dembélé during PSG’s dramatic 1-1 draw at Allianz Arena, a result that sealed a 6-5 aggregate victory for the French champions.
However, beyond the result itself, Kvaratskhelia’s contribution also created a new Champions League record.
The PSG forward became the first player in competition history to either score or assist in seven consecutive knockout-stage appearances during the same Champions League campaign. His incredible run has come against some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including AS Monaco FC, Chelsea F.C., Liverpool F.C. and Bayern Munich.
Kvaratskhelia has consistently delivered decisive moments throughout PSG’s European journey this season. His creativity, dribbling ability and relentless pressing have made him one of the standout performers in the competition.
The assist against Bayern also placed him into another elite PSG category. The Georgian international is now only the third player in club history to register direct involvement in more than 15 goals during Champions League knockout-stage matches for PSG.
