Fast bowler and Sussex seamer Ollie Robinson is set to replace Ben Stokes in England’s squad. He will make his debut on in the second Test at The Ageas Bowl. Ben Stokes couldn’t make it to the next match in the series due to a visit to his ailing father. England and Pakistan played their first test in the series from 5th to 8th August. England won the session with three wickets. The next test for the two is scheduled from tomorrow i.e August 13.

“Ben Stokes Is Someone We’d Miss Even If He Was Unable To Bowl Or Hit A Ball,” said Jofra Archer in a media report. He added saying, “If you are going into battle, Stokes is the person you want right next to you. He would never run away from a challenge, but family is so important and he has to be in New Zealand right now.

While this change seems to be a chance for Pakistan to take advantage as one of the best players in England’s team shall be missing. Pakistan coach Waqar Younis has urged his bowlers to take advantage of Ben Stokes’ absence as they look to hit back in the second Test against England.

England Squad for the upcoming matches in the test series: Joe Root (Captain), James Anderson, Jofra Archer, Dominic Bess, Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, Jos Buttler, Zak Crawley, Sam Curran, Ollie Pope, Ollie Robinson, Dom Sibley, Chris Woakes and Mark Wood.
