Journalist Boria Majumdar recently had a chat in Revsportz specials with Rajesh Nagar who is the coach of India’s under 19 captain Yash Dhull’s where he spoke about the chances of the batsmen getting selected by the franchises in the upcoming IPL mega auction which will be held on 12th and 13th February in Bengaluru.
The coach also talked about the difficulties he faced during the initial lockdown which was imposed where Yash’s father would take videos of him batting in the nets that he constructed in his house and would send feedback to rectify the errors. and helped him prepare for the Under 19 world cup.
Nagar also praised the youngster as he is very good in strike rotation and always seems to be in control when he bats and does not look tense just like Virat Kohli, he developed these skills while he used to play with the older boys when he was just 11 years old.
Being from an army family Yash is one of those who is very calm and performs his duties well and the coach has plans for the youngster which will help him become better at his game and believes Yash is ready for the bigger stages like Ranji Trophy and the IPL. Being technically and mentally strong will help the youngster get easily acclimatized to the new surroundings if he gets selected in the mega auction of the IPL which is on 12th and 13th February.
