The Women’s IPL is preparing for its first-ever auction, and there is plenty of excitement. Close to 1000 players have registered for the WPL 2023 Player Auction, providing the BCCI with a registration windfall comparable to the IPL. The Indian cricket board will narrow the field before the World Premier League auction on February 13 in Mumbai. Insidesport.IN will provide LIVE updates on the WPL 2023.

“Lot of interest has been seen and as many as 1000 cricketers have signed up for the WPL auction. Very healthy participation from both Indian and international players,” a source tracking developments told News18 Cricketnext.

The WPL 2023 Player Auction will sell only 90 players. Each team can only have a maximum of 18 players on their roster. On January 25, the teams were announced, with Adani and Capri Global joining the IPL’s Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
