Just hours before the third T20I between India and England, Rajasthan Royals have dropped a huge hint on IPL 2020 star Rahul Tewatia’s possible debut to the Indian team which was delayed due to fitness concerns.
The explosive all-rounder, who had been selected after his performance in IPL 2020, failed to appear in the first two T20Is against England. Reports suggest that Tewatia and spinner Varun Chakravarthy failed to clear the YoYo test twice leading to a delay in their debuts.
However, Tewatia’s IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals hinted at the all-rounder’s possible debut in the third T20 against England. The IPL franchise today morning tweeted an image of Tewatia in blue jersey with a caption stating, “Inching closer towards the dream,” which led to speculations around his possible debut tonight. Moreover, Rajasthan Royals CEO Jake Lush McCrum also shared the same image and wrote that he would love to see Tewatia in action tonight.
