India and West Indies are currently engaged in a five-match T20 series, and the Rohit-led team has successfully dominated the first game, sparking a valiant start for the blues.
In the first T20I, Rohit Sharma was successful in scoring 64 runs off just 44 balls, which allowed him to strike two enormous sixes throughout his batting display.
As the third international batsman with the most sixes, after the famous Chris Gayle and Pakistani veteran Shahid Afridi, the captain Rohit is close to achieving a new goal.
Currently, Shahid Afridi has 476 sixes, and Rohit Sharma has 473* sixes to his name. If Rohit Sharma maintains his excellent form in the second T20I as well, it will be interesting to watch him successfully move up to position 2.
At the renowned Warner Park of Basseterre, India will play the second Twenty20 International match against the hosts West Indies (St Kitts). It’s a venue India will be playing at for the first time.
