The Australian feels that the Indian skipper is always motivated. “Virat Kohli is always up at “110%” when it comes to being motivated, so he will be “ready to go” in Australia before going on paternity leave following the white-ball games and the first Test, the Australian all-rounder said.

Stoinis also shared that Kohli’s decision of taking paternity leave for the birth of his child is right .He might be extra motivated to make an impact, as the Kohli’s will depart to India, after the end of the first Test match.

Marcus Stoinis had a fabulous Indian Premier League 2020 (IPL) season. The Australian all-rounder scored 352 runs and took 13 wickets. Delhi-Capitals reached their maiden final in the IPL 2020, and Stoinis played a crucial role for DC.

The DC all-rounder hopes he can continue his IPL form for his nation. 

 “It also helped that we had a good team, we had a great team; I was very fortunate to be in the same team as Ricky Ponting, who was our coach.”  Stoinis answered when asked about DC’s performance in the IPL 2020.
