Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has reached a new milestone on Wednesday, 2nd November. Indian cricket team is playing the T20 World Cup game against Bangladesh in Adelaide Oval. Indian team is batting first after Rohit Sharma loss the toss.

The Indian skipper was also dismissed early in the game. Virat Kohli came on to bat in the 4th over. He started off well with his bat. With three boundaries at the start of his innings he made a new milestone. Virat Kohli is now the highest run-scorer in T20 World Cup events. Earlier this was ruled by former Sri Lankan batter named Mahela Jayawardene. Indian batter Virat Kohli now has 1017* runs in the Men’s T20 World Cup which is most by any batter.
