Virat Kohli might not be able to play the first ODI against England

He also missed out on the 1st Twenty20 against England. Reports say he might be suffering from an injury so it will be interesting to see how this impacts his game.

News agency ANI reported, “Virat Kohli did not come for optional practice today ahead of the first ODI match at Kennington Oval. He has a suspected groin injury and is unlikely to play the first ODI against England: BCCI sources”

He will be assessed by the BCCI medical team before a decision is taken on his availability for the first ODI in Nottingham on Tuesday.
