Virat Kohli is not playing today for Delhi in the third round of the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Monday. The former India captain has been rested for Delhi’s match against Saurashtra at the Karnataka Cricket Association (KSCA) Stadium, Alur.
Both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma had already fulfilled their planned appearances in the tournament, having featured in only the first two matches for their respective teams. As per the original schedule, neither player was expected to play all league games, and their absence in today’s round is part of pre-decided workload management.
Delhi won the toss and opted to field first against Saurashtra. Kohli’s name does not feature in the Delhi Playing XI for today’s game.
