Bob Woolmer Death Controversy
One of the scariest controversies in cricket history to date was when Bob Woolmer suddenly died during the 2007 World Cup.
Anyway, the 2007 World Cup was in news for many reasons. India and Pakistan were out of the tournament from the first leg, despite their legendary players.
India’s exit was a sign of some new beginning due to the defeat of Bangladesh in the World Cup and the defeat of teams like South Africa along with Pakistan made a lot of statements from Ireland.
After Pakistan’s defeat, his coach Bob Woolmer died in his hotel room, the police declared it a murder in the first investigation but later named it a heart attack, which is a mystery till date.
Sydney Test 2008

After the first innings of the host, India scored 532 runs in their first innings with an unbeaten innings of 154* by Sachin Tendulkar, Laxman 109, Sourav Ganguly 67, Rahul Dravid 53 and Harbhajan Singh 63 runs.
