Captained by Suryakumar Yadav, the squad is set to commence their campaign against the Proteas on December 10, followed by two more T20Is.
In a strategic move, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rohit Sharma have been given a rest for the white-ball formats, with plans for their inclusion closer to the first Test.
Post the T20I series conclusion on December 14 in Johannesburg, the action will transition to a three-match ODI series starting December 17 at the same venue. The cricketing extravaganza will culminate in a two-match Test series, kicking off on December 26 at Centurion.
