
Anticipation is building for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, with general tickets allotment for the two matchdays sold out when it went live for sale for the fans.
General ticket allotments have all been bought by the fans for one of the most firey encounters in the cricket rivalry which is India vs Pakistan which will be held at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on 23rd October and the doubleheader which has India vs Group A runner up and Bangladesh vs South Africa at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) which will be after India vs Pakistan match on 27th October.
Around 200,000 tickets were sold for the 45 matches of the tournament which will be hosted in Australia and will start from 16th October till 13th November during the pre-sale period. The huge demand for tickets for one of the significant cricket rivalry India vs Pakistan was clearly seen as the tickets for the match were sold out in just 5 minutes after it went live for sale.
Around 800,000 fans are expected to attend the ICC men’s T20 world cup in Australia later this year for the first time and there is still a chance for the general public to book their seats for the remaining fixtures of the tournament.
The T20 World Cup will be hosted across the seven venues in Australia -, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Geelong, Perth, and Hobart. The home side will try to defend their T20 crown in the tournament which starts on 16th October this year.
