During the 2nd day of the Brisbane Test, an unlikely comment from Shane Warne lead to trolls on social media. Rishabh Pant is already in the spotlight because of a variety of reasons but his choice of sunglasses grabbed attention during the match. He was seen sporting a pair of goggles with fluorescent rims in the first session of the day when Australia was bowled out for 369.
Australian commentators Shane Warne and Kerry O’Keefe were quick to point out Pant’s unusual fashion.
“What do you think of those shades that Risabh Pant is rocking skull,” Warne asked O’Keefe.
“Straight out of the service station?”
“They are servos aren’t they?” O’Keefe replied.
“And he bought flowers as well. No, they are not getting me. You would want them to get scratched so you can just put them into the bin.”
Following this, pictures of Shikhar Dhawan wearing sunglasses were displayed.
“You talk about the bin Skull, but look at Shikhar Dhawan is rocking there goodness me. It looks like something out of the old movie Slapshot. I think he might need windscreen wipers Skull,” Warne said.
“You could weld in them,” O’Keefe replied.
The conversation took no longer to go viral on social media after which a lot of fans trolled ex-Australian spinner, Shane Warne with his pictures in sunglasses during his professional cricket career. A journalist tweeted images of Warne wearing different sunglasses, and wrote: ” Warne having the gall to call out anyone’s taste in sunglasses.”
