New Zealand fast bowler Adam Milne reached a significant career milestone on Tuesday, completing 250 wickets in T20 cricket during the SA20 2025–26 match between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Pretoria Capitals at St George’s Park, Gqeberha.

Milne achieved the landmark when he bowled Shai Hope for 36 off 19 balls in the 5.2 over of Pretoria Capitals’ chase. The wicket came at a crucial moment, with the Capitals already under pressure while chasing Sunrisers Eastern Cape’s total of 188 for 6.

Known for his express pace and effectiveness across powerplay and middle overs, Milne has been a consistent performer in T20 leagues and international cricket. The 250-wicket mark further underlines his longevity and impact in the shortest format, where he has represented New Zealand and multiple franchise teams around the world.

The milestone adds another highlight to Milne’s T20 career, reinforcing his status as one of the most experienced fast bowlers in the global T20 circuit.
